History

Cory Brothers Inc. was founded in 1977 by John J. Cory aka (Jack). Brothers Jack, Bob and Don grew up as farmers. All three brothers served in the military and with help from his brothers Jack started Cory Brothers Inc. Originally the Co. owned and operated a tavern (My Brothers Place), a fleet of tractor trailers and managed a shop full of techs to keep things going. In 1983 Cory Brothers Inc. relocated to our current location (Great Meadows) and had sold the Tavern to do so. By the late 90s it had grown into a high volume truck repair shop, specializing in diesel engine and drive train repairs. Jacks son John (Moe) grew up in this environment working alongside his dad and other techs learning all about the repair business. In 1992 John took over what his father had started. His on the job training, experiences and education led him to become a Certified Master Mechanic. Johns focus was to provide quality truck & equipment repairs to all with honesty and integrity. Staying current with technology, help from family and

friends and a lot of hard work has helped us become what we are today. John’s wife Jennifer has been managing the office since 1997. Children Jordan and Jayce help in the shop every chance they get learning the same values John had as a child. Jack now (Pop Pop) is helping out around the shop as well, making it truly a family business.

Cory Brothers Expansion!

Cory Brothers Inc. expanded in 2015 with a additional service building. The new shop adds 3 additional bays and solutions for our existing parts storage. Included is a new 16K Truck Lift to join our existing 30K Truck Lift. Our Hydraulic Hose department has moved in as well with a increase inventory to make the hose you need. This was a much needed improvement to aid our services to our customers.

Thomas Charters Employed For 15 years with Cory Brothers

Thomas (Andy) Charters has been turning wrenches for CBI for Fifteen Years, Andy as everyone calls him started with us in 2002 and is a valuable asset to our company. Most customers ask for him to do the jobs. We awarded Andy on year 15 with some appreciation.

John P. Cory Awarded Technician of the year

In 2014 John received ASE (Automotive Service Excellence) Master Medium/Heavy Duty Truck Technician of The Year Award. He and his wife Jenn were flown to Fort Lauderdale FL for a weekend of meetings, receptions, ceremony’s and fun. Snap-On Tools funded the received award of $1000, upgraded diagnostic equipment and all expenses paid for the weekend. From over 300,000 participants only 47 awards are given. ASE is knowledge based testing given to professional’s technicians in the Automotive Industry, ASE acts as a guide for customers and employers to search out talented shops and techs.
